No, the UV-C lights used in our sanitizers will not penetrate or degrade plastics.

We recommend only using the InvisibleShield UV Sanitizer with nonporous materials such as metal or plastic.
Do I need to flip my phone over to sanitize both sides?

Is it OK to leave InvisibleShield UV Sanitizer plugged in when I’m not using it?
Absolutely. The InvisibleShield UV Sanitizer uses very little electrical current in the standby mode, so it draws minimal power when it’s not being used.
Can I open the lid during the sanitation cycle?
For best results, it is recommended to let the full sanitation cycle run uninterrupted. However, the UV-C bulbs automatically shut off when the lid is open and the cycle is interrupted.
Can the UV sanitizer clean other items?
Yes! The InvisibleShield UV Sanitizer can sanitize other nonporous items that you touch daily such as remotes, credit cards, or keys.
Is it safe to use the UV sanitizer?
When used per the provided instructions, the InvisibleShield UV Sanitizer is completely safe to use.
Can I sanitize or charge while on-the-go?
No, the InvisibleShield UV Sanitizer must be plugged into a wall outlet to work.
How do I know if the sanitizer is on?
During a sanitation cycle, four indicator lights on the device will illuminate. Once all indicator lights turn off, the sanitation cycle is complete.
